Jen's unlikely lad

Another day, another dating disaster for Jennifer Aniston. Only this time, happily, she seems to have slotted in the next douche bag straight after her surly singer ex, John Mayer, packed up his toothbrush. Or has she? All hail the trend of the summer: the phantom romance. Nobody’s quite sure if greasy male model Matt Felker is indeed filling the hole that Mayer left, but who cares? It worked for Rhys Ifans. No sooner had Sienna left him than there he was, trailing round the Med with a Miller lookalike. Somewhere between a walker and a rumour, the phantom love interest effortlessly heads off negative tab reports, or just amuses you until another love of your life turns up. We want one!
